Welcome to our introductory course on ‘research impact’, the first in a pathway of four courses that work towards learning how to ‘Identify, Evidence and Narrate Research Impact’. This course will cover all the basics around research impact like why is it important, how has it developed over time and what kind of research impact frameworks are out there.

Key points:

  • The course consists of 5 sections, each including several lessons, usually consisting of a video and a summary text. The final section will have a quiz.
  • Feel free to contribute any thoughts on the lesson to the comment section below that lesson. This way, you have an opportunity to reflect as well as learn from each other.
  • Every time you finish a section, make sure you press the ‘Mark Complete’ button at the bottom of the page as this will mark and save your progress throughout the course.

Good luck and have fun!
