Webinar: Using VV-Impact Reviewer for non-REF Purposes

Jan 16, 2020 | Blog, webinar

On Thursday 6 February at noon (UK time), Vertigo Ventures will run a webinar for our VV-Impact Tracker and VV-Impact Reviewer clients based in the UK as well as for others that are interested in learning more about VV-Impact Reviewer but are not users yet. It will be on “Using VV-Impact Reviewer for non-REF Purposes”. This webinar will be a practical session around using VV-Impact Reviewer.

VV-Impact Reviewer aims to greatly reduce the administrative burden of curating feedback on a university’s impact case study portfolio from multiple reviewers (potentially in numerous locations) and in tracking progress of each review cycle. However, this is not only relevant for REF Impact Case Studies. For example, it could also be used for reviewing Pathway to Impact statements.

This webinar will go over why and how to do internal reviews and then provide a practical demonstration of VV-Impact Reviewer, so that you feel comfortable using VV-IR in your own institution.
The webinar will focus on VV-IR as a standalone product rather than as an addition to VV-Impact Tracker.

You can register for the webinar on Zoom via this link up to 24 hours before the webinar start time.

Structure

The webinar will last for approximately 45 minutes and will cover the following:

– Why and how to do internal impact reviews?
– A demo of the VV-Impact Reviewer software, particularly focusing on you can use VV-IR for reviewing documents other than REF Impact Case Studies
– Q&A

Goals

1. To understand how to run an internal impact review and how to use impact reviewer in this process
2. To feel comfortable using VV-Impact Reviewer to run an impact review cycle
