Vertigo Ventures (VV) has this week been certified to ISO27001, the highest global standard for data security. The accreditation extends the company’s Information Security Management System (ISMS) by consolidating all processes, including those previously managed by partners, centrally within the business.
ISO27001:2013 details requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining and continually improving an information security management system. VV received the accreditation following a thorough audit of its existing systems and processes.
VV’s scope of accreditation covers design and development of software-as-a-service solutions for the capture, measurement and demonstration of social, environmental, economic and other impact, as well as the end-to-end service wrap required to support these solutions, providing a global client base with a secure means of managing proprietary data.
Bob Fedorciow, Chief Revenue Officer, at Vertigo Ventures, commented:
“We’re delighted that our own processes have been accredited to the standards of ISO 27001. Our technology supports clients worldwide in achieving the complex balance between openly demonstrating impact and retaining confidentiality over sensitive proprietary information, so this certification is an important milestone in recognising our commitment to data security across the business.”
