On the 28th November 2024, hivve celebrated the ten-year anniversary of ImpactTracker’s launch with two events, bringing together customers from the EU and APAC regions.
During the sessions, attendees reflected on the growth of the impact agenda over the past decade, the evolution of ImpactTracker to support clients as they move along their impact journey, and the impact successes of our customers around the world. As part of the ceremony, the team was also delighted to present a number of long-term customers with awards that recognised their unique contributions in the impact space.
ImpactTracker is hivve’s flagship impact product. It was originally released in 2014 to support UK universities and research institutes in understanding, capturing and reporting their research impact – the demonstrable change or benefits to the wider society, economy or the environment that arises through research.
Since then, the product has developed significantly to meet evolving customer requirements, with additional innovations deployed such as public engagement capabilities and ImpactReviewer for managing Impact Case Studies (ICS). In 2018, ImpactTracker was deployed in Australia for the first time, and over the past few years it has expanded into further territories and new sectors.
With REF 2029 on the horizon and wider impact requirements developing rapidly, this milestone provides a solid stepping stone as hivve looks to continue to support its global customer base for the next decade and beyond.
